Each morning we were able to have breakfast together... all 9 ladies and all 11 dogs on the back lawn of the Wedgewood Inn. From fresh fruit to bagels, warm croissants, warm pumpkin muffins, to homemade jams and even whitefish salad to go with the bagels and cream cheese... the dogs loved the cream cheese and some ate the whitefish too.
But Vicky still loves him no matter how dirty he gets!!
After breakfast, what did we do? some of us went for a horse & buggy ride while others went into New Hope to an arts and crafts festival and other fabulous shops. After the buggy ride was over, those ladies then went shopping too.
Saturday, late afternoon, everyone came back to the Inn and got ready to go out for dinner. Dinner reservations were a bit mixed up - the french restaurant decided, between the time the reservations were made and the actual evening, that they didn't want to allow dogs, so Nedda, Susan, Sherry and their dogs went across the street to Wildflowers, where they were joined by Valerie and Susan A. and their dogs. It was fine except for the shower Susan A. was getting from the fountain and Bijoux getting stepped on. They would not allow us to put the dogs on chairs or our laps. Boo HISS!!!
Two appetizers from Wildflowers...
Here's Susan A. at dinner,
having a good laugh and Valerie is trying to hide...
Nedda needs these to read the menu....
Susan A sat near the fountain and got a shower with her dinner.
After dinner, we all came back to the Inn, shared some wonderful snacks and
desserts, took lots more pictures and talked and talked until it was time for
the Pajama Party... we all changed into "night clothes" including some
of the dogs. You will have to go to the Pajama Party
page to see what happens next.
