This fall weekend was a treat for 9 ladies and their Coton de Tulear dogs... coming together from across the United States to have a good time in New Hope, Pennsylvania... Some of them had done this in 2006, and some were 'newbies' to the group...

Friday was the day for traveling with the dogs...

Bijoux waiting patiently to leave.

Harley with mom, Susan J. - don't know who is more excited about the trip.

Harley waiting to board the plane..Let's get going Mom!!!

Harley under the airplane seat...

After arranging for the rental car and figuring out how to work the "NeverLost" system, we headed out to New Hope from the Phila airport. Did we get lost? no, just made one or two wrong turns but that was okay as the Bijoux and Harley had to go potty.

We all stayed at the 1833 Umpleby House which is also associated with the Wedgewood Inn. You can check it out at www.1833umplebyhouse.com.

This is the Carriage House where two of the ladies stayed.

Someone is ready for a nap.

And another one is on the tired side, too... Harley on her mommy's bed:

One of the areas where guests can go for tea between 4 & 5 pm.

The Wedgewood Inn

This is a very unusual statue on the grounds. It had the head of a steer, the torso of a woman, the rear end of a woman, the muscular arms and thighs and feet of a man. I don't know about everyone but I found it interesting.

Of course, the view from Google Earth!
